SITUATION

“Cal Ribero” is located in the town of Vilanova de la Sal, in the region of Noguera, located in the Pre-Pyrenees of Lleida.

VILANOVA DE LA SAL

Vilanova de la Sal is a small, rural and welcoming village located 14 km north of Balaguer, with less than a hundred inhabitants and a strong agricultural tradition. It stands out for its tranquility, landscapes and heritage, such as the church of Santa Maria and the remains of the castle and the Romanesque church of Santa Margarita. The natural environment, with holm oak and pine forests, is ideal for activities such as mountain biking, hiking, hunting, fishing and cultural tourism.

La Noguera

La Noguera is the largest region in Catalonia and stands out for its variety of landscapes and municipalities, some with ancient towns. It is ideal for nature activities such as hiking, cycling and hang gliding, especially in the Vall d’Àger and Montsec. In the north we find mountains, gorges and reservoirs, while in the south agricultural plains predominate. The region also preserves a rich historical heritage, with hermitages, castles and the city of Balaguer, known for its cultural diversity.
